The Class Teacher acts as the first mentor for every student. Throughout the academic year, every student receives multiple one-to-one counselling sessions based on a well-defined annual mentoring plan. These individual interactions provide a comfortable environment where students can openly discuss their academic performance, learning habits, confidence, behaviour, emotional well-being, friendships, discipline, career aspirations, and any challenges they may be facing.

Each session follows a structured observation format to ensure that every important aspect of the student's development is reviewed. Parents are also connected during or after these discussions so that teachers and families work together on common goals. Practical suggestions, improvement plans, and continuous follow-up help create a strong support system for every child.

Professional Psychological Counselling

Some situations require specialised guidance beyond regular academic mentoring. For such cases, Matrix High School has a dedicated team of experienced psychology counsellors who work closely with students facing emotional, behavioural, social, or personal challenges.

Individual counselling sessions are conducted in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where students can express themselves freely.
